GENESIS SPECIAL - Today's show is a Special Showcase show from me Andy Phillips and the Rockin' Rebel Radio crew, and is dedicated to a band that shaped progressive rock from the late sixties, through the 70's and into the eighties and beyond. They have spawned some of the most talented and influential musicians in modern rock history and created a unique sound through every decade. The band has had it's ups and downs, going from a pretty stable 5 piece to a reformed and rejuvenated 4 piece, and then there were 3. I am of course taking about that musical tour de force that is... Genesis.

Putting The Show Together
Putting this 2 Hour Genesis Special together was a great experience. Every song reminded me of a moment in time, moments in my life where Genesis were present. From the moment I purchased Genesis Live because of the track "The Knife" to attending the Six Of The Best show at the Milton Keynes Bowl where I have the chance to see Peter Gabriel perform with genesis, the band have been a massive part of the soundtrack of my life and I love them for it.
